It's surprisingly loud, cutting and trashy. It had a lot of character and produces a very interesting gong sound if it is properly hit.
It is a cymbal that has to be used rarely, in key points. I would have preferred it a little warmer and not so strident, but I still like it.

Exceptional small china
The 12'' Zildjian FX China Trash is exactly what I was after. Loud enough for a metal context, while also servicing as an accent-capable cymbal for jazz fusion styles. I play it flipped, and it sounds biting and crispy.
Larger chinas are just so impossibly loud in my opinion, but this one just hits right.
