Yamaha & Thomann = perfection
tgchan.com 07.03.2025
I am not going to lie... When I read some of the negative reviews here on, Thomann I was a little worried... Unnecessarily~!!

Yamaha surprised me with its typical high quality and perfection.

If you see a B-stock item, this might be me... ;(

Never in my life had I wanted to keep the gear so much; acoustic drumkit: Yamaha Stage Custom + this Yamaha DFP-9500C Double Foot Pedal

It turned out I would have to invest almost twice as much to capture the whole acoustic drumkit and record it the way I want. Even then I am not sure if my room is just beyond saving...

I have spent a few sleepless nights not knowing what to do...

You have a perfect Yamaha gear that is pure joy to play on, looks stunning, amazing quality all over the place but... You just cannot capture the decent sound of it on the record no matter what you do...

The only pedal I could compare it to is, Roland RDH-102 | Double-Bassdrum-Pedal which I use with my ekit (Roland TD-07). Both are amazing.

Yamaha comes with an amazing Yamaha bag for your pedals so if you need to move with it, it may come in super handy/

Once again, the pedal itself and Thomann = absolute perfection/

I have already decided to give the acoustic set one more shot next year when I secure enough money for it. Needless to say... I will AGAIN buy Yamaha and via Thomann. You just can't go wrong with this combination/.

An amazing pedal at an amazing price!
Bogomil Hristov 17.08.2026
I've played a lot of different pedals trough the years, including the more expensive version of this one (Yamaha DFP9D), but it turned out to be too heavy. In fact most pedals turned out to be too heavy for me, even though i am a big guy. Call it bad technique maybe.

Anyways, after the first moment of unpacking this pedal i felt the speed and the power of every hit. My hits are even stronger and harder with this pedal than the DFP9D, even though the DFP9D is heavier and more expensive, and it's all around a very ergonomic and useful product. Even if this breaks in a year or two i will order the same thing again! I am a proud user of everything Yamaha related to drums and i have not been disappointed.

Perfektes, relativ günstiges Pedal
Mario F. 28.11.2009
