Your device's USB port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for any video adapter to work, so check that before ordering. Worked for me on both an Android phone with Android 16's mirror and desktop modes and also on Ubuntu.
Not sure about the exact specs, as the website description and the paper that came with it say max 4K@30Hz but the invoice said max 4K@60Hz.
Nice and slim. I've seen some much bulkier ones with a single HDMI port.
For only £1 more I have since acquired a USB hub that also has 2 USB A and 2 USB C ports in addition (e.g. to connect MIDI controllers or devices supporting USB audio) and a USB C PD charging port that can power the hub and charge the host device while in use. A smartphone will discharge quickly when playing video over USB, so being able to charge would be an important factor for me if I were buying now.
