Sounds great, totally impractical

They sound great but the mic detaches from the clips of the headset way too easily and makes using them for a live performance practically impossible as they will most likely come off the heaset.

Great sound, poor build

These headsets sound great but are let down by the quality of the headband. Fiddly and awkward, the plastic clips are very poor. Embarassing when trying to put them on a presenter but the headband won’t sit properly in the plastic clips! Fix this and they will be great value for money.

Guter Klang, je nach Zweck für den Preis hervorragend nutzbar

Erst mal die Rahmenbedingungen:
Ich habe mir das Headset-Mic zusammen mit einer Sennheiser Funkstrecke XSW-2 gekauft, um in meiner Band im Background als Bassist nicht immer hinter dem Mikrofonständer festgenagelt zu sein. Wohl wissend, dass das Mic eine Kugelcharakteristik hat. Hatte deshalb auch öfter mit den Experten von Thomann gesprochen, waren allesamt sehr nette Kontakte.
Das Mic sollte nicht so sehr auffallen (deshalb Hautfarben) und musste zusätzlich mit meinem InEar hinters Ohr passen. Und das tat es ohne Probleme!
Handling: Etwas kompliziert, da der Mic-Bügel, wenn man noch ungeübt mit Headset-Mics ist, gerne aus den Halteklemmen springt und man das Teil dann in der Hand hat. Könnte besser gelöst sein.
Klang: Wir waren alle geflasht, das kleine Ding klang wesentlich transparenter und voller als die dynamischen Mics (Shure SM 58 beta). Also echt klasse! Kondensator eben....
Und jetzt kommt das ABER :-)
Im Bandkontext ging es leider gar nicht. Wir spielen alle mit InEars. Uns sind von den Drums fast die Ohren weggeflogen. Es nimmt einfach zu viel aus dem Proberaum mit auf. Kugelcharakteristik geht da wirklich nicht. Schade. Das Teil geht jetzt wieder zurück und ich habe mir dafür das Sennheiser HSP 4 EW 3 Beige bestellt. Das hat Nierencharakteristik und ist leider erheblich teurer (naja, es ist Weihnachten :-))

A fine microphone for quality sound.
My one concern is that I struggle with wearing the headset..the headset doesn't have a useful scope for all head sizes.
So next time I will search for a headset that does have a suitable size range.
