This cabinet is simply legendary. Guitar players from all around the world are dreaming about owning a proper marshall cab and I can confidently understand why.

The best Marshall cabinet for hard rock
This one is the best sounding (in the room) cabinet of all of current Marshall's line up, in my opinion. I also have the slant 1960AV and had the Silver Jubilee 2551AV but this one sounds a class above the slants.

Best Marshall Cab
if you are only running one 4x12 cab - the BV is reputed to have the better sound than the AV - so this is the one to get.
I wanted to get a SLASH signature cab but these are the same.
Very happy - it complements my MESA BOOGIE recto cab perfectly in a stereo setup.

You will need eq to get rid of hiss at 4k hz. Even switching speakers will not solve this issue. I guess not an issue, it's a sound preference thing. The design of the cab has flaws that causes the unpleasant sounding.
Mesa is way better, but looks ugly.
