Just what I was looking for. Compared to 770 pro x.
At first, I tried 770 pro x. Same drivers, different tuning and housing.
After 4 days of testing, for me- the treble was too harsh and after trying to play with eq, paper mod and audio interface I still couldn't listen to them for more than 1 hour. Just didn't suit me, but overall comfort was great and better than 700 pro x, that's the only minus for me, for now.
Sound, more premium feeling, design, earpads and second cable- all of these are big pro's for 700.
Overall- really enjoying these. EQ'd them for my taste, added some lows and got a feeling- that is exactly what I was looking for.
If you are sensible to treble and deciding between the two- get these asap.
Thankfully, Thomann provided me an excellent service and quick return of 770 and new shipment of 700. Amazing work.
tldr: Pretty good headset for what it is and a price tag, clamping force on my head will get looser and then they will be 10/10

Comparing this to HD600
The headset is really good quality, they even include two cables in case something happens to one of them which is very nice. There are couple of things I don't like about it, but given it's price I think it's really a good headset.
First issue is that the headset has cables connecting it to the earcup, which makes it feel really fragile, especially since the cable don't feel very durable. It feels like something might happen at any point.
The headset fits my ears but I think the circle design is not a good idea as the enclosed part leaves some part of the ear hanging (not covered) and some parts of it covered giving a weird feeling after switching from hd600 which covers my ears perfectly. If I had a bit bigger ears I think it would hurt as well, so it's probably not suitable for every person.
One would also want to put an EQ for this if they are a picky listener or an compositor. The main thing I don't like about it's tuning is how much it dips down at around 4k frequency. I feel like it's a bit too opinionated and on certain types of musics it becomes really obvious and doesn't feel natural. It sounds like someone did put an EQ over the original recording (But this is just my opinion maybe there are people who prefer the sound to be that way.)
I think DT 700 PRO X is a good portable high quality headset, I plan on using this when I go to trips as it only requires 48 ohms which makes it suitable to connect it to a PC or phone directly, unlike HD600 which requires 300 ohms. It also has closed back design so it has much better sound isolation outside. So I would say HD600 for more accurate and natural sounds, and HD 700 PRO X for portable design with good sound isolation.

Well done Beyerdynamic!
New pro x series was perfectly designed. The ear cup was extremely comfort, softer and thicker than my DT1990, the metal frame was curved on the pro x, so it won't be damage your desk or easily scratch the edge. It's one of the best closed back headphones for seriously recording session, the noise reduction was over the top. Well done , its still build like a tank.

Meine klangliche Referenz waren HD 650.

Expensive but very good
These headphones are a bit expensive but the sound and build quality is great.
A good balance of: clear, defined, neutral, revealing, warm.
A pleasure to use and wear.
The phones do push a bit much on the head, but it helps to expand the head band a bit.
And the cable is nice (it soft and doesn't mess up) + can be deattached.

Fantastic headphones for music porduction
Love these headphones! They feel fantastic on my ears and sound great! my only problems are that the wire that plugs into the left side extends out far from the headphones and hits my shoulder when I turn my head. Maybe I have a short neck idk. Secondly the wrapping on the foam part of the piece that touches the top of my head has started to peel off after about 8 or so months. Easy to buy and replace just haven't yet

Exellent
Excellent headphones, but with a different cable, silver-plated, it reveals its real potential. With the original cables, they are second-rate headphones, I don't understand why they do that. The same thing happened with the DT 1770 Pro, I discovered a truly phenomenal headphone, with silver won on transparency, a much wider stage, accurately defining each instrument, with a memorable impact!

beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X
Purchased with long wear times and comfort in mind without spending a fortune and decent sound reproduction.
In use for 3 months now, definitely comfortable and I am very happy with overall performance, the only thing I would change is the so called mini XLR connector on the headphones/cable... sturdy but a bit too restrictive.
Excellent value for money, subjectively great design, extremely comfortable on my small-ish ears, great build quality with scratch resistant materials and best part is they are made in the EU!
Great buy!
