All round good mouthpiece

The simplest thing to say is that IMO this is better than the Bach mouthpiece with the same designation. Build quality is great and consistent. The rim is more comfortable than other 10-1/2Cs I've played too. Unlike a Bach you don't have to open the throat to get it to play in tune. It can easily produce a tone for most musical applications. Plus the price is unbelievable, and unbeatable!

Prima Anfängermundstück! Auch für Fortgeschrittene nutzbar

Ich spiele Fanfare in einem Fanfarenzug. Hier sind die Ansprüche generell natürlich nicht ganz so hoch angesetzt wie in Blaskapellen oder sogar Orchestern. Für einen Fanfarenzug ist dieses Mundstück vollkommen ausreichend und bietet einen guten Klang.

Da es ein mittelflaches Mundstück ist wird der Klang nicht so "piepsig" wie bei flacheren Mundstücken, die in der höheren Lagen etwas untersützen. Man verliert aber dennoch auch in den höheren Lagen noch nicht so schnell den Ansatz. Im Vergleich zu den meist standardmäßig mit den Instrumenten ausgelieferten 7C-Mundstücken ist der Kessel nicht ganz so eng, was es für mich persönlich wesentlich angenehmer zu spielen macht. Auch bei uns im Verein haben wir die Erfahrung gemacht, dass insbesondere Anfänger mit diesem Mundstück häufig am besten klarkommen. Sie treffen die Töne besser als mit anderen Mundstücken und die Töne an sich klingen auch besser (nicht so wackelig). Auch die Ausdauer lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, so dass für Anfänger die Probe nicht schon nach 20 Minuten wieder beendet ist...

Alles in allem für mich ein sehr empfehlenswertes Mundstück!
