It prevents from slipping

At first I was disappointed when I unpacked it. Beginnig of the mat was torned around a tape which kept it winded. Sides were deformed. When I measured the width it was over 1 meter so unusable part could be cut out. The adhesive is good and surface of the mat really keeps objects from slipping.

This foam has lots of uses in my studio.
It's great for anti-slip, it's great for dampening resonances on metal materials and I often use it as finishing touch for self-made stands and furniture.
It's not extremely durable when handled without care, but that's expected from such a soft material.

Also 2x1m ist schon ne Ansage. Mir hätte auch 1qm gereicht - aber sei es drum. Das Neopren ist relativ dünn. Oberfläche sieht sehr gut und gleichmäßig aus.

Ich habe es unter verschiedene Dinge geklebt, damit diese nicht mehr verrutschen und keine Kratzer verursachen. Dafür ist es perfekt.
Ebenso habe ich es als "Dichtband" bei anderen Sachen verwendet. Geht auch gut. Ist recht vielseitig verwendbar.

Die Folie auf der Rückseite könnte ruhig ein Raster (1x1cm?) enthalten. Damit wäre ein Zuschneiden erheblich einfacher. Lange dünne Streifen zu schneiden ist nahezu unmöglich, da man nicht auf dem Neopren oder auf dem Antihaftpapier sauber anzeichnen kann. Da half nur direkt mir Cutter und Stahllineal zu schneiden.
An einem Rand bei mir war ca 5cm kein Kleber und ca. 3cm kein Papier.

Ich würde es wieder Kaufen.
