A finicky solution

With space and positioning a need for all drummers, I purchased the claw after reading many reviews about its usefullness. I use it on my right, clipped onto the rim of my 14" tom.
It can be adjusted to anyone's liking, there are no restrictions there. However, it does need to be tightened after every session or sometimes in between. You get little confidence in tightening any of the wingsnuts.
Does the job but be prepared for a little frustration with maintaining your position.

Amazing for mounting cowbell

I use this to mount my cowbell to my floor tom hoop.
It is very sturdy and doesn't affect the sound of the tom or the cowbell.

This claw is a well-known percussion accessory. It is ideal for attaching items to other pieces of percussion such as timbales. It is well designed and very useful. There are no "cons". I recommend it.
