Great Noiseless Stratocaster Pickups
I swapped the vintage noiseless pickups into a partscaster strat, which previously had the Fender 57/62 pickups in it, as I am now playing in a different project which requires more shoegaze-y tones and I find myself using higher gain pedals, such as the op-amp big muff pi, far more frequently.
In terms of clean tone, these noiseless pickups deliver a unique, warm, chimey strat tone, which I am very happy with. Although I will say compared to the 57/62 pickups they seem slightly hotter and "bluesier" sounding through a clean/edge-of-breakup fender tube amp. I think the 57/62 pickups have ever so slightly more clarity in the high end for clean tones. However, I still believe the vintage noiseless pickups deliver a classic warm and chimey strat clean tone as well.
For overdriven or distorted tones I personally prefer the sound of the vintage noiseless pickups. And of course, they are in fact truly noiseless and take high gain pedals much better than a classic single coil pickup.
Overall, for my application these pickups were absolutely the right decision and I am very happy with them. Also, the pre-wired pickguard is incredible easy to install and requires very little soldering. All of the other components on the pre-wired pickguard are of solid build quality and I am also happy with these.

Great upgrade
I upgraded a 98 strat with those pickups and it's like a brand new guitar! Great sound, very quiet, but with a nice shiny top end, loved it.
