Made my compact kit big
I have a portable 12", 10", 13" 18" kit. Snare is a 12x4, which preferes to be tuned high. I've tried thi Donut on it, and not only it made my snare quite naturaly lower, it allowed me to tune it down a bit without unwanted overtones. Now it sounds like a nice deep 13". And very controlled. Love it!
